As a Tree Cutting Service Climber, you will play a crucial role in safely and efficiently removing trees, branches, and foliage from various locations, including residential and commercial properties. Your expertise and precision in tree climbing, cutting techniques, and equipment operation will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Responsibilities:

Perform tree climbing and cutting activities using proper techniques, equipment, and safety measures. Safely remove trees, branches, and foliage from residential and commercial properties according to client specifications and project requirements. Assess tree conditions, evaluate potential hazards, and make decisions regarding tree removal or pruning. Utilize ropes, harnesses, climbing gear, and other equipment to climb trees and access branches at varying heights. Operate and maintain chainsaws, wood chippers, stump grinders, and other tools and machinery required for tree cutting and removal. Implement proper pruning techniques to promote tree health and growth. Safely lower cut branches and logs to the ground, ensuring the protection of property and individuals nearby. Collaborate with team members, including ground crew and tree climbers, to ensure efficient workflow and project completion. Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries. Maintain and inspect climbing gear, equipment, and tools regularly to ensure functionality and safety compliance. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in tree cutting and climbing techniques.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Tree Cutting Service Climber or similar role. Proficient in tree climbing and cutting techniques, including the use of ropes, harnesses, and climbing gear. Strong knowledge of tree species, their characteristics, and potential hazards associated with tree removal. Excellent physical fitness and stamina to perform strenuous tasks, including climbing tall trees and lifting heavy branches. Familiarity with the safe operation and maintenance of chainsaws, wood chippers, and other tree cutting equipment. Ability to assess tree conditions and make decisions regarding tree removal or pruning based on safety and project requirements. Skilled in implementing proper pruning techniques to promote tree health and growth. Commitment to safety protocols and the ability to follow guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with team members and address client inquiries. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Relevant certifications, such as Arborist Certification or Tree Climber Specialist, are highly desirable.
